Sebum is what carries dead skin cells through our follicles and releases them to the surface of our skin. Acne is a condition that affects the oil glands of the skin and prevents the pores of the skin from releasing dead skin cells properly. This causes the follicle to become congested with dead skin cells and sebum resulting in a lesion.

What is microcurrent?

Microcurrent sends waves through the skin to stimulate muscles. This wave of energy mimics your body’s flow and increases ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) which is the main source of energy for our cells. The energy produced helps to tone the skin cells residing in our muscles. The result of microcurrent is a smooth, lifted, and toned appearance.

This technique is minimally invasive and transforms the look and feel of damaged skin to a smoother and healthier texture. A vertical stamping technique taps small needles into the skin creating clean channels without damage or destruction of tissue. This stimulates fibroblast activity and initiates a wound healing response resulting in increased collagen production.
